Missing Russian Helicopter Found


The wreckage of the Russian Mi-8 helicopter that has been missing since 26 October has been located on the ocean floor in a position 1.2 NM (2.2 km) nort east of Heerodden, on a depth of 209 meters. The SAR operation led by JRCC North Norway is now concluded, and the police will be in charge of conducting a search for casualties.
